We have a range of trunking systems to meet the exacting needs of all patient care environments, from treatment rooms, acute ward areas and ITU/HDU areas.          Mediplan’s range of bedhead trunking provides an integrated packaging solution to combine and contain power, data, medical gases and ward lighting into one convenient aesthetically pleasing enclosure. We have installations throughout the UK and have had considerable success in supplying our trunking systems to PFI hospitals and also prestigious overseas hospitals installations.        All Mediplan bedhead trunking systems are powder coated with a Syntha Pulvin powder coating, which carries a 25-year manufacturer’s guarantee. Mediplan’s bedhead trunking can be supplied in many different colours to suit almost any colour scheme.        Increasing incidence of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI), such as MRSA and Clostridium difficile has made infection control the one of the highest priorities in our modern hospitals. Mediplan’s bedhead trunking has been designed with improving infection control as a key objective. The bedhead trunking is easy to clean and has the option of anti-microbial powder coating to further reduce the risks of HAI’s. Mediplan’s bedhead trunking can be supplied pre-wired and pre-piped with electrical wiring and gas pipelines already installed if required, minimising installation time, reducing on-site labour costs and minimising Health and safety risks. The entire Mediplan range of bedhead trunking conforms to the NHS Estates HTM2015 Bedhead Services, HTM02-01 Medical Gas Pipeline Systems, BS EN 11197:2004 Medical Supply Units and other relevant standards.
